Climate
Climate is the average and variations of weather over long periods of time. Over historic time spans there are a number of static variables that determine the climate, including latitude, altitude, proportion of land to water and proximity to oceans and mountains. Climate zones are defined by using the parameter such as temperature and rainfall and it is commonly defined as the weather averaged over a long period of time.
Climate models use quantitative methods to simulate the interactions of the atmosphere, land surface, ocean and ice. It describes changes in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over time scales ranging from decades to millions of years. Climate include the average temperature, day of sunlight and other variables.
Climate include average weather conditions, regular weather sequences like winter, summer, fall and special weather events like floods. Climate tells us what it's usally like in the place where you live. The main difference between the climate and weather is climate is what you expect and weather is what you get.
In Chandigarh the temperature may rise to a maximum of 46.5 degree C in summer. Temperatures are generally remain between 35 degree C to 45 degree C. But winters are quite cool. Average temperatures in winter (November to February) remain at (max) 7 degree C to 20 degree C (min) 0 degree C to 5 degree C. The Chandigarh climate remains quite pleasant during the spring season. Temperatures vary between (max) 16°C to 25°C and (min) 9°C to 18°C. At present there are many differences in climate around the world because of differing amounts of radiation received from the sun at different parts of the earth and different times of the year.
